“ We visited for a family birthday on a Sunday lunchtime (pre-booked). The food was fantastic and very good value. It was very busy but it did not take long to get served and we all enjoyed a fantastic mixed meze starter and some vegetarian and fish main dishes. During our visit a customer was unwell and we saw the team go above and beyond to support the customer, calling for medical assistance, offering bottles of water and even calling them a taxi home once they recovered. We were really impressed by the team's caring and thoughtful response in the middle of a very busy Sunday service. A really great team of lovely people serving fabulous food. Great to see and we look forward to visiting again soon :) ”
“ This is going to be one of my favourite restaurant in Cambridge for sure. I've had the fatteh with hummus and when I had the first taste I was hit by a mixture of delicious and delicate flavours and I knew I was going to finish the whole plate even though the serving size is huge. It was so lovely and flavourful with all the nuts and bread under. I really recommend trying it. It's on the pricier side but it's so worth it. ”

“ We were thoroughly impressed by Little Petra, dining on a Tuesday around 6pm. I would recommend booking ahead as the place was packed soon after we arrived. We started with the chicken livers, which were packed with flavour and generously portioned — so much so that we were already feeling quite full by the end of it. Then came the mains, which took us by surprise! We ordered a lamb stew, a shawarma with salad and, if I remember correctly, a mezze bowl. Each dish was absolutely massive. We'd never really had middle eastern cuisine, so it was a real pleasure. We thought everything was delicious and colourful, but we only managed to enjoy about 30% of each dish. We packed the rest to take away, which gave us leftovers for a couple days. Service was good, and helpful, although as it got busier it was harder to get staff attention, so we had to pay at till. Not a problem! On which note, we thought the pricing was very fair and great value. Little Petra is an easy recommendation. ”

The staff were wonderful—genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The sides and dips deserve a special mention. The hummus, baba ghanouj, and raheb were all incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned—it was a real treat from start to finish. ”
